The research group works in the following fields: development of epigenetic and non-epigenetic modulators for the treatment of hematologic tumors. design and synthesis of inhibitors targeting enzymes of the endocannabinoid system for the development of therapeutic agents for neurodegenerative diseases and epilepsy treatment. synthesis of new pharmacological tools for the treatment of rare diseases. Design and synthesis of enzymatic inhibitors or receptor modulators for the development of new infectious agents. Green chemistry methods for the development of new neurodegeneration modulators.

BioAgry Lab

The BioAgryLab's research activity is aimed at finding sustainable solutions to be adopted in agriculture to increase both crop yield and quality by reducing the use of synthetic chemical fertilizers and pesticides, in accordance with guidelines issued by the European Commission, as well as identifying alternative solutions to address environmental issues related to climate change, such as drought, salinity and increased ozone levels
